Only few people know that before there was Ebony Cuts, there was Learn Disco.
Very, very few people actually: Lars, Christopher, Åsa and Mitch.
Between 2001 and 2003 I found no other way to get that Discofunk out of my system than by recording tons of mixtapes with my latest disco discoveries. Tons meaning 18.
My audience: Lars, Christopher, Åsa and Mitch (and occasionally my brother Julian, though he'd gone lost to the 80s new romantic sound that was accompanying his youth).
Learn Disco was the self explanatory name for these tapes and even became the theme for a sweet little exhibition about the coverart of disco. Only few people knew about that exhibition as well.
To sum it all up, Best Of Learn Disco was recorded in october 2003 and later reused for the fourth edition of Ebony Cuts, cut down to only 60 min though. Hamburg's local radio Tide 96.0 couldn't bare with more than one hour of disco back then.
But you can.
So here's the full 80 minutes:
